Job Summary
Cycas Hospitality is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Restaurant & Bar Staff to join our team at the Ibis Bridgwater hotel. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverage service of a high standard and in accordance with departmental standards and procedures
- Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues to ensure seamless service
- Upsell and promote our menu offerings to guests
- Converse with guests about beverage offerings, including wine and cocktails
- Ensure cellar operations are carried out efficiently and in accordance with stock control procedures
- Resolve guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner
- Assist with receiving and storage of goods
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness
- Assist with preparations for food and beverage functions and service
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues
Requirements
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service procedures
