Job Summary

The Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced NHS Finance Specialist to join its team. This role will play a key part in the production and monitoring of budgets, ensuring that financial targets are met.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with Divisional and Departmental Managers. They will also have strong Excel skills and experience working in NHS finance.

This is a challenging position that requires the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and processes. The ideal candidate will be able to build and maintain strong relationships with external bodies and provide expert advice on financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assist in the production and monitoring of budgets, in accordance with guidelines and agreed deadlines.
  • To support the production of Management Information, with particular emphasis on Month end Management Accounts and Annual Budgets.
  • To process and account for documents relating to Management Information, in line with the Trust's Financial Procedures.

Requirements:

  • Undertaking the AAT qualification.
  • Previous experience working in NHS finance.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong Excel skills.

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
