Technical Sales Representative

About This Opportunity
">Ansys is a leading provider of engineering simulation software, and we are seeking a skilled Sales Professional to join our team as an Account Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for growing business with existing customer accounts, while also exploring new markets and white space.
">Your Key Responsibilities
">- Establish and maintain business relationships with current and/or prospective customers to maintain renewal business and generate new business for assigned industry verticals, regions, or sets of named accounts.
- Deploy Ansys' well-defined customer engagement process to uncover customer pain points and identify solutions.
- Presents the value of company products/services through metrics and proof points considering Ansys' value framework.
- Engages with customers and prospects via various channels, including telephone, video conference, email, LinkedIn, and face-to-face meetings.
- Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations.
- Provides accurate forecasts for new sales and renewal revenues.
- Participates in trade shows and conventions; schedules training and seminars to enhance new business opportunities.
- Creates and maintains account plans for existing customers and prospect customers.
- Cordinates sales effort with marketing, account team, sales management, accounting, legal, and technical services groups.
Requirements
">- Bachelor's degree in technical, engineering, business, or related field with 1+ years of experience in technical, business, or sales positions.
- Demonstrated understanding of engineering analysis and technology.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Travel: up to 50%. Emphasis on office-based working when not at customer site.
Compensation Package
">The estimated salary for this role is $130,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
