Job Description:

Gap Technical Ltd is proud to be representing a Food manufacturing business in their search for a Health and Safety Advisor to work at their facility.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, reviewing, and updating health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices. They will also conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards.

Additionally, they will develop and deliver training for employees on health and safety practices, emergency procedures, and proper use of equipment. They will lead investigations into accidents, incidents, and near-misses, ensuring the facility complies with relevant health and safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of OSHA regulations, HACCP, GMP, and other relevant health and safety standards. They will also have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and health & safety management software.

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a health and safety role within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of OSHA regulations, HACCP, GMP, and other relevant health and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and health & safety management software.
  • Ability to conduct training and presentations effectively.

Estimated Salary: £37,500 - £42,500 per annum, depending on experience.
