The CareTech Group is seeking a Support Professional for Young People to join our dedicated team at The Forum School. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping children learn and develop skills for life.

**Job Overview**

We are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment that fosters growth and development for all our residents. Our teams work closely together to deliver innovative educational experiences and national curriculum programmes that cater to the unique needs of each child.

As a Support Professional, your main focus will be to support students to focus and make progress in lessons, assist teachers in preparing work, and ensure students make progress in formal learning situations as well as with self-help skills, life skills, and social understanding.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
  • Knowledge of Autism and/or Special Educational Needs
  • Well-developed organisation and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexibly in relation to tasks undertaken
  • Ability to be a good team player

Experience is not essential, as we provide comprehensive training and support to help you develop your professional skills.

**Benefits**

We offer a fully supported 6-month probationary period, during which you will receive ongoing mentoring and support to help you grow in your role. Successful candidates will undergo an enhanced DBS check and reference checks to ensure we maintain the highest standards of safeguarding.

**Salary**

We offer a competitive salary of £12.36 per hour, reflecting the importance of your role in supporting young people to achieve their full potential.
