Job Title: Education Support Worker – SEN School

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Education Support Worker to join a vibrant SEN school. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about supporting students with diverse needs and helping them reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students with special educational needs, ensuring they feel safe, supported, and able to engage in learning.
  • Assist teachers in the classroom with preparing materials and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment by encouraging social interaction and personal development.
  • Monitor and record students' progress, communicating effectively with teachers and parents.
  • Support students in developing their independence and life skills both in and out of the classroom.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children or young people with special educational needs is essential.
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students with a range of needs.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A relevant qualification in education, childcare, or a related field is desirable but not essential.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
