Job Title: Nights Support Worker

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, Bank Hours

About the Role:

The Cambian Group is a leading provider of specialist behavioural health services for children and adults in the UK. We are seeking a Nights Support Worker to join our team who shares our ethos of empowering individuals to reach their personal best.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting Young People: The role involves providing physical and emotional care to young people with Autism, ensuring their needs are met during the waking night.
  • Maintaining a Therapeutic Environment: Working with a multidisciplinary team, the Nights Support Worker will create a safe, secure, and caring environment that promotes the young people's wellbeing and development.
  • Assisting with Daily Routines: The role includes supporting young people with their morning routines, supervising and motivating them to prepare for their day.
  • Building Relationships: The Nights Support Worker will build positive professional relationships with staff and young people, encouraging open communication and trust.

Requirements:

  • Experience Working with Vulnerable Groups: The ideal candidate will have experience working with young people with Autism or similar needs.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: The role requires good communication skills, including the ability to clarify and explain instructions clearly.
  • Ability to Work Independently: The Nights Support Worker will be able to work independently, making decisions and taking initiative when necessary.
