Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Child Protection Specialist to join our team in Coventry. The successful candidate will work with looked-after children and care leavers, aged 12-25, to support their rehabilitation and reunification with their families.

This role involves holding a small caseload of high-risk cases, working closely with therapeutic practitioners and reunification workers to develop robust plans and interventions. The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of legislation and regulations surrounding looked-after children and the ability to apply this to their practice.

The salary for this position is estimated at £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Social Care Practitioner to join our Through Care service. As part of this role, you will be working with children and families to develop bespoke plans and interventions, aimed at supporting their rehabilitation and reunification.

You will be required to manage adolescent risk and have a good understanding of contextual safeguarding. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, and appointment will be conditional upon a satisfactory DBS check.
