School Site Manager

Estimated Salary: £15.00 - £20.00 per hour
This role is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of a primary school in Burnley. As a School Site Manager, you will be responsible for locking and unlocking the school site, performing general grounds maintenance tasks, and undertaking caretaking duties such as cleaning and basic repairs.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of reliability and trustworthiness, particularly in roles involving keyholding and site security. Previous experience in a caretaking, maintenance, or facilities management role is preferred but not essential. The ability to work independently and manage time effectively is also essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Locking and unlocking the school site at the beginning and end of the day
- Acting as a keyholder and ensuring the security of the premises
- Performing general grounds maintenance tasks, including litter picking, grass cutting, and tidying outdoor areas
- Undertaking caretaking duties such as cleaning and basic repairs
