**About Us:**

Cambridge Science Centre is a dynamic organisation dedicated to promoting science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education. We are seeking a highly motivated Product Development Officer to join our team.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative individual to design and produce engaging STEM content for our exhibitions, shows, workshops, and activities. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our Head of Exhibitions to develop innovative exhibits, school programmes, and public shows that inspire and educate our diverse audience.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop interactive and educational exhibits, school workshops, and public shows that showcase the wonders of STEM.
  • Collaborate with our Head of Exhibitions to design and produce high-quality content that meets the needs of our audience.
  • Update and refine existing products to maintain their relevance and excitement for visitors.
  • Benchmark content to ensure it meets the highest standards of quality in all public-facing materials.
  • Investigate new sources for activities, content, and consumables to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Stay up-to-date with other STEM engagement providers to ensure we remain at the forefront of best practices in the field.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated creativity and innovation, with a passion for science education beyond formal classroom settings.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to translate effectively from STEM academic and industry concepts to our core audience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a diplomatic and tactful approach to stakeholder interactions.
  • Ability to work within a defined budget.

What We Offer:

  • An estimated salary of £32,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
