Software Development Innovator

At Amazon, we're looking for talented individuals to join our team of Software Development Engineers (SDEs). As a SDE, you'll be working on cutting-edge technology to solve complex problems and see the impact of your work firsthand.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Recent graduates or students about to complete a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, C/C++, or Python.
- Knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals like object-oriented design, algorithm design, data structures, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.
- Previous technical internship experience.
- Experience with distributed systems, algorithms, and relational databases.
- Optimization mathematics skills like linear programming and nonlinear optimization.
Our SDEs are passionate about creating new products, features, and services from scratch while managing ambiguity and pace. You'll have the opportunity to design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry. Our software development process is agile, and you'll work collaboratively with teams to deliver high-quality software.
The salary for this position is approximately £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. As an Amazon employee, you'll receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
