Job Title: Renal Dietitian

We are seeking an experienced Renal Dietitian to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary renal team, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered renal dietetic care.

Job Overview

Our renal dietetics department provides specialist care to renal inpatients and outpatients, covering areas such as dialysis, advanced kidney care, nephrology, and weight management. You will contribute to the planning and implementation of care pathways, protocols, and support the leadership and management team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide expert dietetic care to patients with renal conditions, ensuring compliance with Trust clinical guidelines and national standards.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of structured education programs for healthcare professionals.
  • Manage clinical risk within your patient caseload, maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient treatment records.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • BSc/Postgraduate diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics
  • HCPC registration
  • Significant experience in renal dietetics, with knowledge of dietetics within the NHS
  • Experience of clinical audit, multidisciplinary team working, and formal teaching/lecturing
