Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Infection Prevention and Control team. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with staff across the Trust to improve IPC practices and reduce hospital-acquired infections.
Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement effective infection control strategies, working collaboratively with the IPC Consultant Nurses, Senior Nurses, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation.
In addition to your clinical expertise, you will also provide education and training to staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to maintain a safe environment for patients.
You will be based at one of our eight sites, including University College Hospital, National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, and Royal National ENT and Eastman Dental Hospitals.
