About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Student Support Associate. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse learning needs and helping them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs, including those with physical, emotional, or learning disabilities.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement tailored learning plans that cater to the unique needs of each student.
  • Assist students with daily living skills, such as personal care and mobility, as needed.
  • Support students in developing their social and emotional skills, including communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and new initiatives.
Requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support students with diverse learning needs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meeting the needs of students and staff.
  • Previous experience working with students with special educational needs is an asset, but not required.
  • Willingness to undergo training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
