Psychiatric Support Practitioner

Job Description
The successful candidate will work as part of our dedicated team to provide high-quality mental health services to patients across Somerset. The role will involve conducting comprehensive assessments, developing effective interventions, and empowering acute care staff with specialist mental health advice.
Main Duties
- Conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments and develop effective risk management plans.
- Engage in cross-system collaboration to provide integrated care.
- Deliver regular training programs within the acute care setting to reduce stigma and enhance mental health awareness.
Person Specification
- RMN, Social Work, and Occupational Therapy Qualification.
- Current registration with relevant professional body.
- Evidence of continuous professional development.
Salary and Benefits
