Payroll Officer Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our team on an interim basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing accurate and timely payroll for all hotel employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end payroll cycle, including data input, calculations, and disbursements
  • Ensure compliance with UK tax regulations and employment laws
  • Handle payroll queries from staff and management promptly and professionally
  • Prepare and submit statutory returns, including PAYE and National Insurance contributions
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and generate reports for management review
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Officer preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in payroll software systems (e.g. Sage, Xero or Similar)
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent problem solving abilities and analytical skills

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £15.00 per hour, paid weekly, and a general office hours Monday to Friday schedule. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for payroll, we would like to hear from you.
