Water Production Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Shift Controller at Thames Water. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our water treatment processes and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with site managers, maintenance teams, and control centre staff to monitor and control water production processes.
- Problem-solve and respond to challenging situations, providing technical input and expertise.
- Use SCADA software to monitor and control treatment processes, ensuring compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
- Conduct sampling and analysis to ensure water quality meets required standards.
- Perform manual fault finding, intervention, and emergency response to maintain treatment processes and customer supply.
- Maintain accurate records and shift logs, highlighting any potential health and safety issues.
- Take responsibility for your own health and safety, contributing to risk assessments and taking action to maintain a safe working environment.
- Stay up-to-date with technical knowledge and procedures, ensuring awareness of changes and updates.
- Experience working in a process and/or manufacturing environment, with a control and quality assurance background.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a 'can-do' attitude and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Competent in using company IT systems and Microsoft Office, with experience of SCADA software an advantage.
- A full UK driving licence, as you will be required to travel to various operational sites.
