Water Treatment Process Controller

Your Role:
As a Mobile Shift Controller, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our water treatment facilities across the Guildford area. You'll be responsible for monitoring, controlling, and maintaining water production processes, while adhering to strict quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage water treatment processes at various sites, utilizing SCADA systems for real-time monitoring and control.
- Conduct routine sampling and analysis to guarantee compliance with internal protocols and external regulations.
- Proactively identify and resolve technical issues, implementing corrective actions to maintain optimal production flow.
- Collaborate effectively with site managers, maintenance teams, water quality specialists, and the control center to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain comprehensive shift logs and documentation, accurately recording all activities and observations.
- Promote a culture of safety by identifying potential hazards, contributing to risk assessments, and implementing preventive measures.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in a process-driven environment, such as manufacturing, food production, or utilities, with a focus on quality assurance.
- Hands-on technical expertise and troubleshooting skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in using company IT systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A valid UK driving license is essential due to the requirement for travel between operational sites.
