Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at 5S Recruitment Limited. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that every product meets the stringent quality standards that our client is known for.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed inspections using conventional measuring equipment, as well as advanced tools like CMMs (Mitutoyo COSMOS and CMM Manager) and FARO arms.
  • Apply GD&T knowledge to interpret engineering drawings and inspect components against design criteria.
  • Prepare FAIR reports with a high level of accuracy, documenting inspection results and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment to maintain inspection schedules and meet production timelines.
  • Assist in the calibration of measuring equipment, ensuring all tools are maintained and certified to the required standards.
  • Utilise FARO arms for advanced measurement tasks, enhancing the precision of inspections.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in the use of conventional measuring equipment and advanced tools like CMMs and FARO arms.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T and experience with FAIR reporting.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with calibration processes and maintaining high standards of measurement accuracy.
