Drama Teacher

We are seeking a skilled drama educator to deliver high-quality drama lessons to KS3-4 students at a reputable secondary school in Ealing.

This is a full-time, one-year contract that presents an excellent opportunity to develop your teaching skills and contribute to the school's drama department.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver engaging and challenging drama lessons that cater to the needs of KS3-4 students
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development
  • Contribute to the development of the drama curriculum, ensuring it remains relevant and effective
  • Foster collaboration between colleagues in the drama department and across the school to promote a cohesive teaching approach
  • Support extracurricular activities and events, such as school productions and drama clubs, to enrich the students' educational experience
Necessary Qualifications and Experience:
  • Holding a degree in drama or a related subject
  • Possessing qualified teacher status (QTS)
  • Previous experience in teaching drama at KS3-4 level
  • A genuine passion for drama and theatre, with a commitment to inspiring and engaging students in this subject
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and building positive relationships with students
Compensation and Benefits:

The salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, estimated to be around £35,000 - £45,000 per annum.

In addition to a competitive salary, we offer 7% statutory holiday pay.

Please note that this is a temporary position, but there may be opportunities for permanence in the future.
