Job Description

As a Clinical Health Assessor with ENGINEERINGUK, you will play a vital role in conducting health and disability assessments for individuals who have long-term physical or mental health conditions or disabilities.

About the Job

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified clinician to transition into a new career path with ENGINEERINGUK. You will be responsible for conducting Personal Independence Payment (PIP) assessments, evaluating an individual's ability to carry out everyday tasks and their mobility, and preparing detailed reports and recommendations for submission to the Department of Work and Pensions.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough health and disability assessments to understand each individual's unique needs and circumstances.
  • Evaluate an individual's ability to perform daily tasks and their mobility, taking into account their physical and mental health conditions.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and recommendations for submission to the Department of Work and Pensions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide high-quality service to claimants and contribute to the continued improvement of health assessment services in the UK.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • You must have at least 12 months of post-registration experience gained in the UK as an NMC registered nurse or HCPC paramedic, physiotherapist, or occupational therapist.
  • Prior experience treating a wide range of physical and mental health conditions is highly desirable.
  • Strong critical analysis and logical thinking skills are essential for this role.
