Care Management Director

At Buckinghamshire Council, we are seeking an exceptional leader to drive the success of our residential services. As Care Management Director, you will oversee a team of dedicated professionals, ensuring that children and young people receive the highest standard of care.
About the RoleThis is a pivotal position that requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of childcare regulations, and a passion for promoting equality and positive outcomes. With a minimum of four years' post-qualification experience leading and managing teams, you will have the expertise to ensure our residential care meets the highest standards.
- Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum

As Care Management Director, you will be responsible for:
- Superintending managerial and senior residential social work staff, fostering a culture of professional practice and excellence in performance
- Collaborating closely with the Head of Service to develop and promote the service, driving continuous improvements in performance and care quality
- Providing management cover for Team Managers when needed, ensuring seamless service delivery
- Representing the service at external events and contributing to internal working groups, panels, or projects as required
