Occupational Health Practitioner

A challenging and rewarding role has become available for an Occupational Health Practitioner to join our team as a Functional Assessor. This position involves conducting thorough medical assessments to evaluate how an individual's disabilities or conditions affect their work life. Utilizing your clinical expertise, you will take into account each person's unique circumstances and medical history to produce concise, accurate reports for the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP).
This role requires sensitivity, compassion, and the ability to ask the right questions while maintaining best practice standards. Meeting with individuals face-to-face and via telephone/video calls, you will need to communicate effectively and produce high-quality reports. Continuous professional development is essential for success in this role, and experience using a range of software is required. A self-aware and focused individual who is committed to professional growth will thrive in this environment.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £40,125 per annum, based on a 3-day working week. In addition to the base salary, they will be eligible for a quality-related bonus of up to 10% once approved and eligible. Full IT equipment for remote working will be provided, along with annual registration fees being paid by the company. A generous pension contribution of up to 6% employer-matched will also be offered, along with access to exclusive discounts and deals, and wellbeing, care, and support.
