Key Responsibilities- Service Delivery: Ensure the effective and efficient delivery of services, including being the escalation point for operational issues and addressing them in a timely manner.
- Service Development: Develop specialty service plans that align with the strategic aims and objectives of the organization.
- Business Planning: Undertake the development of business and strategic plans, negotiate resources, and secure delivery of projects.
- Capacity Planning: Work with senior leaders to plan and negotiate divisional performance agreements.
- Service Level Agreements: Negotiate service level agreements within the corporate framework.
- Business Cases: Ensure business cases are produced for service developments, taking into account activity, income projections, and service models.
- Policy Development: Develop and implement service and business unit policies.
- Performance Management: Collate and provide directorate information to support the divisional performance management system.
- Business Solutions: Identify and implement business/organisational solutions to performance issues.
- Administration: Manage and coordinate administration processes to enable effective monitoring and performance management of access and activity targets.
- Data Analysis: Gather and provide information regarding demand and capacity utilisation.
- System Implementation: Work with senior leaders to introduce systems for continuous performance measurement of services.
- Reporting: Highlight and report areas of over/under performance and take corrective action.
- Rota Management: Ensure rotas and on-call arrangements are in place to manage directorate services 24/7.
- Financial Management: Comply with financial processes and deadlines, delivering financial key performance indicators and forecasting outturn.
