Automation Maintenance Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Automation Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Ocado Group. As an Automation Maintenance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering pre-planned and reactive maintenance within our state-of-the-art automated Customer Fulfilment Centres (CFCs).
Working at height and using a variety of access equipment, you will diagnose equipment breakdowns and resolve issues in a timely manner, completing repairs where possible. You will handle the Computerised Maintenance Management System, maintaining accurate data records to meet Engineering KPIs.
You will support the Engineering team in analysing engineering failures and finding solutions to improve Mechanical Handling Equipment performance. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have a good technical understanding of automation hardware and software, along with hands-on experience. Ideally, you have a good working knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, and conveyor systems.
You will be a natural problem solver with great analytical skills, able to communicate effectively and share knowledge and best practice with your peers. You will be comfortable working safely at height and happy to work to a 24-hour shift pattern.
