About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Engineering Technician to join our team at Ocado Group. As an integral part of our Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in delivering pre-planned and reactive maintenance within our state-of-the-art automated Customer Fulfilment Centres (CFCs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose equipment breakdowns and resolve issues in a timely manner, completing repairs where possible.
  • Handle the Computerised Maintenance Management System, maintaining accurate data records to meet Engineering KPIs.
  • Support the Engineering team in analysing engineering failures and finding solutions to improve Mechanical Handling Equipment performance.

Requirements

  • Engineering qualification and hands-on experience.
  • Good technical understanding of automation hardware and software, including PLCs, SCADA, and conveyor systems.
  • Organised and meticulous, with great analytical skills and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Comfortable working safely at height and willing to work a 24-hour shift pattern.
