Heat Pumps Application Engineer

Thornhvac Ltd is seeking a skilled Heat Pumps Application Engineer to join their team in Central London. As a hybrid role, you will work from home and office as required, with a basic salary up to £45k plus full company benefits.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide pre-sales support to heat pump projects, fully supporting the sales team. You will understand client briefs from enquiry, drawings, and specifications, and apply your knowledge of the residential market to comply with legislation.

You will use heating design and heat load calculations to select the right equipment and solution for customer projects, producing a fully costed technical quotation. Additionally, you will assist with product development, marketing, technical documents, and literature, as well as other ad-hoc duties as required.

About the Person

We are ideally seeking an engineer from a heat pumps or heating background, but applications from other HVAC disciplines are also considered, as long as there is strong working knowledge of heating and heating design.

Suitable roles include pre-sales engineer, application engineer, design engineer, proposals engineer, technical sales engineer, or project engineer. You will be flexible to work from home and office as required.
