Heat Pumps Application Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Heat Pumps Application Engineer to join our team at Thornhvac Ltd. As a key member of our sales support team, you will play a crucial role in providing technical expertise to our clients and sales team.

About the Role

As a Heat Pumps Application Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing pre-sales support to heat pump projects, working closely with the sales team to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Understanding client briefs, drawings, and specifications to provide accurate and effective solutions.
  • Applying knowledge of the residential market to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Using heating design and heat load calculations to select the right equipment and solution for customer projects, producing fully costed technical quotations.
  • Assisting with product development, marketing, technical documents, and literature, as well as other ad-hoc duties as required.
About You

We are looking for an engineer with a strong background in heat pumps or heating, who is flexible and able to work from home and office as required. You will have a strong working knowledge of heating and heating design, and be able to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive basic salary up to £45k, plus full company benefits. As a hybrid role, you will be based in Central London, with the flexibility to work from home and office as required.
