SEN Teaching Assistant Position in Sheffield School

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled SEN teaching assistant to join our KS1 team in a primary school in Sheffield. As a SEN teaching assistant, you will provide support to pupils with special educational needs, enabling them to become independent learners and achieve their full potential.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supporting students' academic progress and development
- Enabling pupils with SEN to become independent learners
- Assisting with behaviour management and social-emotional development
- Following school policies on behaviour, safeguarding, and Health and Safety
Requirements:
- Early Years Practitioner Level 2 or above, or Level 3 teaching assistant qualification
- Experience working as a SEN teaching assistant in SEN/Mainstream settings
- Good organisational and excellent communication skills
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this position is dependent on current grade, experience, and payroll method, with an estimated rate of pay around £20,000-£25,000 per annum. Enhanced DBS check and referencing required. A recommend a friend scheme and re-registration bonus are also available.
