Main Duties of the Job

As a Haemodialysis Assistant Practitioner, you will be responsible for:

  • Training patients to perform their own haemodialysis treatments

  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working in a renal setting, with a focus on haemodialysis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of renal replacement therapy, including haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis
  • Ability to contribute to the development of junior staff
