Motor Vehicle Technician Role

We are seeking an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician to join our team at Octane Recruitment. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient maintenance of vehicles, working in a busy workshop environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance, with experience of working with a variety of makes and models. You will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
You will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance tasks, diagnosing faults and undertaking repairs to ensure vehicles are roadworthy. Additionally, you will provide exceptional customer service, responding to queries and resolving issues in a professional manner.
Responsibilities:
- Performing routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes and tire rotations.
- Diagnosing and repairing faults using a range of diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Maintaining accurate records of work completed and ensuring all documentation is up-to-date.
- Communicating effectively with customers and colleagues to ensure excellent customer service.
Salary and Benefits:
Salary: Up to £49,842 per annum. Bonus: Yes, subject to performance. Overtime: Available, paid at enhanced rates.
