Lead Data Analyst

Sanctuary Group is a leading provider of housing, care, and community services in the UK, with a strong commitment to diversity and talent development. We are seeking two experienced Lead Data Analysts to join our team in Worcester, working a balanced mix of home and office hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to design and implement data models, ensuring seamless data flow and integration across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive data service improvements, focusing on timely, cost-effective, and efficient delivery.
  • Design and implement data pipelines and solutions to capture and transform data from multiple systems, making it easily accessible for analysis in the cloud.
  • Manage and design data visualization and dashboarding tools, leveraging SAP and non-SAP data sources, including SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Deep understanding of the SAP Analytics Cloud platform, including data modeling, reporting, and visual presentation capabilities.
  • Lead and conduct SAC projects, from requirement analysis to implementation and post-go-live support, ensuring successful project outcomes.
  • Promote innovation, best practices, and continuous improvement within the team, researching new technologies and their suitability for the Group to develop business cases for data initiatives.
  • Proactively monitor data pipelines and analytics workloads for uptime, compliance, governance, and quality, managing alerts and remediation when issues arise.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Business Analysis or equivalent knowledge and ability.
  • SAP Analytics tools experience, including SAP Application Associate - SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) certification or equivalent.
  • At least one full implementation of designing and developing analytic applications using SAP Analytics Cloud.
  • Proven understanding of SAP data structures in ECC, S/4HANA, and/or other cloud products.
  • Working knowledge of data management and good practice principles.
  • Substantial experience in analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving data integration issues.
