About the Role

Sirona care & health CIC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Development Facilitator to join our team. As a key member of our Learning and Development department, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of our staff and ensuring that they have the knowledge, skills, and behaviors to deliver high-quality care and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the induction process for new recruits, coordinating competency education and assessments to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Provide clinical and educational support to new recruits and existing staff requiring extra support, helping them to develop their skills and confidence.
  • Work in partnership with the Learning and Development team to maintain competency and continuous professional development of staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care and services.
  • Support line managers in staff development, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and confidence.
  • Maintain accurate, timely written and computerized documentation in line with professional guidelines and legal requirements.
  • Evaluate and risk assess all aspects of community work, minimizing the risk to self, patients, and carers while delivering care.

Person Specification

  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent with NMC registration
  • Evidence of continuous professional development to postgraduate level
  • Recent teaching or training experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A recognized assessor/mentor qualification or evidence of working towards this
