Nurse Care Specialist

At Leonard Cheshire, we are seeking a skilled Nurse Care Specialist to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our customers, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. You will work closely with our support staff to deliver person-centred care, prioritizing the needs of our customers and maintaining a safe and caring environment.
Key responsibilities include ordering and administering medication, maintaining accurate records, and supporting customers with daily tasks and personal hygiene needs. You will also lead a team of support staff, delegating tasks and ensuring the smooth management of the shift.
To be successful in this role, you will have current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse, a thorough knowledge of nursing theory and best practice, and effective nursing skills. You will also be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including on-call rota.
