Nurse Practitioner

As a Registered Nurse with Leonard Cheshire, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care and support to adults with physical and learning disabilities. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement person-centred care plans, ensuring the needs of our customers are met within a safe and caring environment.
Key responsibilities include ordering and administering medication, ensuring safe storage and recording all information in accordance with internal procedures and NMC guidelines. You will also lead a team of support staff, prioritising and planning tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient management of the shift.
Additional responsibilities include supporting ongoing assessments, observing changes in health and well-being, and maintaining accurate records. You will also provide support with physical care, personal hygiene needs, and daily tasks.
To be successful in this role, you will have current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse, a thorough and up-to-date knowledge of nursing theory and best practice, and an understanding of the NMC code of conduct and relevant practice standards and guidance.
