About the Role
The Partner Director plays a pivotal role in driving commercial success at Computacenter. This strategic position oversees multiple lines of business teams within the Partner Management organisation, fostering key relationships with manufacturers and distributors to achieve a competitive advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the vision and strategy for the Partner Management team, aligning with corporate goals.
- Develop and implement strategies for category teams, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
- Maximise overall profitability for Computacenter through existing contracts or negotiating new partner agreements.
- Build and maintain strong commercial partner relationships to drive business growth.
- Lead complex negotiations with strategic partners to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Collaborate with Sector Directors, Solutions Directors, and consultants to optimise partner relationships and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure contractual supplier obligations are met, including procurement, objectives, accreditations, and certifications.
- Manage and negotiate partner contracts at the country level.
- Deliver significant business-focused projects and meet defined targets.
People Management
- Develop and motivate the team to achieve department and business targets.
- Participate in recruitment and talent development.
- Assume responsibility for Category Managers in the Partner Management Organisation.
- Delegate tasks and set objectives for Category Managers and teams.
- Set performance targets, measure team performance, and ensure timely delivery.
- Guarantee the quality and reliability of team work.
- Conduct annual performance reviews and develop training plans.
- Manage disciplinary actions and enforce company policies.
QHSE Responsibilities
- Enforce company rules, procedures, and good practices.
- Participate in incident investigations and propose corrective actions.
- Monitor performance indicators for Quality, Safety, Road Safety, Environment, and Security.
- Ensure Partner Management SLAs, OLAs, and KPIs are met.
- Maintain and improve supplier satisfaction levels.
- Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate Computacenter's values.
Requirements
- Experience in strategic leadership to enable the Department to perform effectively.
- Previous leadership experience.
- Understanding of competitors and their strategies.
- Comprehensive experience in leadership, coaching, and motivation of teams.
- Excellent relationship management skills.
- Ability to conduct complex negotiations.
- Set the organisational vision and strategy.
- Expert understanding of business drivers and their application to business decisions.
- Develop strategy to implement lessons learned.
