Job Overview

The Health & Safety Partnership is seeking a skilled Fire Safety Specialist to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to work on various projects, ensuring fire safety and risk management in residential and commercial buildings.


Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and qualified Risk Management Consultant to lead our fire safety initiatives. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in risk assessments, delivering fire risk assessments, and general risk assessments.


Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough fire risk assessments of residential and commercial properties.
  • Develop Fire Safety Plans and ensure compliance with fire safety regulations (such as the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005).
  • Carry out General Risk Assessments to identify hazards and propose suitable control measures.
  • Provide Expert Advice and Recommendations on fire safety, risk management, and health and safety compliance.
  • Offer professional advice to building owners, managers, and developers on fire safety and risk management.

Requirements
  • NEBOSH General Certificate in Health and Safety (minimum) with additional relevant qualifications preferred.
  • Fire safety qualifications and memberships in at least one of the following (AIFireE, MIFireE, GIFireE, MIFSM, MIFPO).
  • Significant experience in risk assessments within the built environment (residential and/or commercial).
  • Strong understanding of Approved Document BS 9999/9997 and current UK fire safety regulations.

What We Offer

A competitive salary of £55,000 - £70,000 per annum (dependent on experience, qualifications, and location), along with attractive benefits including private healthcare, pension, life cover, and 25 days holiday (with the option to purchase additional days).
