Senior Fire and Compliance Specialist

Overview:

The Health & Safety Partnership is seeking a Senior Fire and Compliance Specialist to join their team. This role will involve providing expert advice on fire safety and risk management to building owners, managers, and developers.

About the Role:

This is a home-based position that requires approximately 3 days of work on client sites and 2 days at home. The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting fire risk assessments, developing fire safety plans, and ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out thorough fire risk assessments of residential and commercial properties.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive fire safety plans for buildings, ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations.
  • Conduct general risk assessments to identify hazards and propose suitable control measures.
  • Provide expert advice and recommendations on fire safety and risk management.
  • Prepare and review emergency plans.
  • Assist with building regulations compliance.
  • Perform site inspections and audits.
Qualifications and Experience:

The successful candidate will possess a NEBOSH General Certificate in Health and Safety (minimum) with additional relevant qualifications preferred. They will also have significant experience in risk assessments within the built environment, including fire risk assessments and general risk assessments.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position is estimated to be £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience, qualifications, and location. The package includes private healthcare, pension, life cover, and 25 days holiday (with the option to purchase additional days). Professional development opportunities are also available.
