The Role
We are seeking a Scheme Manager to join our team at Brook Street, a Day and Drop-in service providing flexible, person-centred, stimulating support in a community-based setting for individuals with learning difficulties.
Key Responsibilities
- Encourage people who we support to take part in activities, promoting independence and well-being.
- Plan and lead day trips out, using minibus or public transport to build confidence and familiarity with local landmarks.
- Assess service users' needs for care, leisure, social interaction, and professional support staff.
- Supervise, train, and mentor care and non-care staff.
Requirements
- Management qualification (e.g., QCF Level 5 or similar).
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior capacity, with experience of supervising, training, and mentoring care and non-care staff.
