Job Overview

Ethero, a leading provider of automation solutions, is seeking an experienced Installation Engineer to join their global team. As a key member of the installation and technical support team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality equipment installations worldwide.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a highly competitive salary package, including a base salary of £33,000 - £36,000 per annum, with potential earnings around £45,000 per annum due to overtime opportunities. Additionally, you will receive a hired vehicle for travel, health shield, pension, and expenses float system.

Job Description

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Installing large automated equipment at various global locations for periods of 6 weeks or more.
  • Working across Monday to Sunday with one rest day, with standard hours of 47.5 hours per week.
  • Paid travel and compensation for rest during working hours.
  • Overtime paid on a lieu system, with the option to be paid for additional hours worked.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of City & Guilds electrical qualification.
  • Previous experience in installation work within the commercial sector.
  • A valid MEWP license.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of automation.
  • Ability to interpret installation design plans (CAD).
  • Willingness to travel abroad for extended periods.
