Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team. This key role will involve working on both electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of equipment across our high-tech site.

The Role

This position requires a skilled professional with a strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing reactive and preventative maintenance on a variety of electrical and mechanical systems, troubleshooting and repairing faults to ensure minimal downtime, conducting routine inspections and maintenance of machinery, supporting installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems, and working collaboratively with other engineers to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Perform reactive and preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair faults to minimize downtime
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of machinery
  • Support installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems
  • Collaborate with engineers to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
Requirements
  • Multiskilled (electrical & mechanical) engineering background
  • Experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a high-tech or manufacturing environment
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of PLCs, motor drives, and control systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
  • Health & safety awareness and adherence to regulations
Salary Range

The estimated salary for this role is between £45,000 and £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
