About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing Communications Specialist to join our team at LightSpeed Broadband. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and executing our community engagement strategies across various social media platforms, blogs, and events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement community engagement strategies to increase brand awareness and drive customer adoption.
  • Direct the sponsorship of local events and activities that support our brand.
  • Oversee branded events and activities to support our sales and marketing team.
  • Own, plan, develop, and execute the loyalty scheme within our service areas.
  • Support the execution of our brand strategy to drive brand preference within our operating areas.
  • Act as a central point of contact for all LightSpeed marketing activities.
  • Drive customer adoption by supporting B2C, B2B, desk, community engagement, and wholesale marketing activities.
  • Support the marketing team with executing social media posts, blogs, local advertising, and news articles.
  • Responsible for keeping track of merchandise stock levels and budget.
  • Participate in and support branded events and activities to generate content.
  • Responsible for budget management and administration duties.
  • Analyse and report on the competitive landscape and industry.
Requirements
  • Degree educated in marketing, social media, journalism, advertising, communications, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong grasp of written English, including grammar and spelling.
  • Project Management skills to manage multiple streams of tasks with competing deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Experience of working within a busy environment, both individually and as a team.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and think differently.
