HGV Technician

Ford and Slater, a leading DAF Truck dealer group, is seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our team at our Newark dealership.

As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a wide range of trucks and vehicles, carrying out safety inspections, and preparing vehicles for MOTs. You will also diagnose faults, ensure repairs are carried out according to manufacturers' procedures, and participate in breakdowns.
We are looking for a qualified individual with a Level 3 qualification in Commercial Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, excellent technical knowledge, and a full UK driving license. If you are a Light Commercial or Car Mechanic looking to transfer your skills, we can offer you training to become a HGV Technician.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturers' procedures, excellent diagnostic skills, and the ability to work safely and efficiently. If you are a motivated and skilled individual looking for a challenging and rewarding role, we encourage you to apply.
