Teaching Personnel is seeking an exceptional Academic Cover Manager to join our team.

Job Title: Cover Supervisor

We require a Cover Supervisor who can effectively manage the classroom environment in the absence of regular teachers. This involves supervising students, maintaining a safe and conducive learning environment, and delivering pre-prepared work.

The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, a basic knowledge of the education system, and excellent communication skills. A minimum of GCSEs or equivalent in English and Mathematics is essential for this role. Additional qualifications in education or related fields are desirable.

This is a full-time contract position that requires interacting with students, teachers, and school staff daily. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supervising students and maintaining a safe and conducive learning environment
  • Delivering pre-prepared work to students, ensuring they stay on track with their studies
Key Requirements

A minimum of GCSEs or equivalent in English and Mathematics is essential for this role. Additional qualifications in education or related fields are desirable, as is prior experience working in a school or educational setting.

The estimated salary for this role is £20,000 - £25,000 per annum.
