About the Role
">We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Clinical Fellow to join our neurosurgical team at Salford Royal Hospital. As a successful applicant, you will work alongside experienced consultants, subspecialties that include oncology, complex spine, functional, oncology, and vascular neurosurgery.
This 12-month post offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in a busy, well-established, and highly-performing unit. You will be responsible for general neurosurgery, with a 1:11 on-call rota as the first on-call registrar, supported by a senior registrar as second on-call.
Requirements
">To be eligible for this role, you must have full GMC registration with a license to practice, MRCS (or equivalent), and at least three years' experience as a neurosurgery registrar. A career aim to become a Neurosurgery Consultant is desirable.
Above all, we require excellent communication skills, previous experience in basic science or clinical research, and a genuine interest in pursuing a career in neurosurgery.
Estimated Salary
">£60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
