We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead the commercial strategy for the new Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities at the University of Oxford. This exciting role will be responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive commercial plan, managing conferencing, hospitality, commercial hires, food and beverage, merchandising, and exploring new income streams.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a commercial strategy to increase profitability and drive sustained growth in the Centre's commercial operations
- Manage the full range of commercial activities, including conferencing, hospitality, commercial hires, food and beverage, and merchandising
- Explore and develop new and emerging income streams
- Collaborate with the University of Oxford's Humanities Division to ensure alignment with the Centre's goals and objectives
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit and proven track record in developing and implementing commercial strategies
- Ability to increase profitability and drive sustained growth in commercial operations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience in managing commercial activities, including conferencing, hospitality, and merchandising
