About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and creative Design Assistant to join our team at boohoo group. As a Design Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the wider design team with the day-to-day running of the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant trends and present them to the Designer/Senior Designer.
  • Work with the Senior Designer to ensure technical packs are sent out on time.
  • Assist in technical fits with the garment technology team and write notes to share with the team.
  • Collate design packs for the wider business on a weekly basis.
  • Chase samples with suppliers and communicate with them as needed.
  • Organize multiple deadlines and ensure administrative tasks are completed to support the team.
  • Arrange fabrics for the design department and ensure products are ready for meetings.

Requirements
  • A design-based degree is preferable.
  • Experience using CAD systems, such as Photoshop and Illustrator, is favorable.
  • A strong understanding of boohoo's customer and key competitors.
  • Great knowledge of fashion trends and a passion for boohoo.
  • Excellent organization skills and the ability to adapt quickly.
  • A team player with a willingness to go above and beyond to support others.
