Step Teachers is currently seeking a highly skilled Geography Educator to join our team in a Secondary School located in a desirable area. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a real difference in the lives of students.

The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Geography curriculum and be able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons. They will also be responsible for maintaining a well-organised and professional classroom environment and working effectively with other members of staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Geography lessons to students at KS3 and KS4 level
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve departmental and school goals
  • Comply with school policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent qualification for teaching in a Secondary School
  • Recent mainstream school-based experience as a Geography Teacher
  • Good classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Relevant Geography or Humanities related degree desirable
