Class Act Teaching Services is seeking a skilled Geography Teacher to join their team in a Secondary School located north of Witney. This full-time role is initially until the February half term, with potential for extension.

The school aims to instil skills in students that will last beyond their time in education. Their curriculum is purposefully ambitious to allow every individual to be challenged to reach their full potential and supported to achieve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Geography curriculum
  • Organised and professional maintenance of the classroom and associated resources
  • Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the department and throughout the school
  • Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback
  • Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons
  • Compliance with the school's policies and reliable implementation of these

Requirements:

  • Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification for teaching in Secondary School
  • Have recent mainstream school-based experience as a Geography Teacher
  • Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
  • A relevant Geography or Humanities related degree is desirable
  • SEND experience is desirable
