Dim Sum Chef Role
We are seeking a skilled Dim Sum Chef to join our culinary team. As a Dim Sum Chef, you will be responsible for creating and following traditional recipes, while also being innovative with new dim sum creations. You will utilize traditional Chinese cooking techniques, such as steaming, frying, and baking, specific to dim sum preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute dim sum menus that showcase traditional Chinese cuisine with a modern twist.
- Collaborate with the head chef and restaurant management to design and update the dim sum menu.
- Manage the dim sum station and ensure it operates smoothly and efficiently.
- Introduce new dim sum items and seasonal specials to keep the menu exciting and diverse.
About You
We are looking for a proven track record and experience in high-end Chinese cuisine. Excellent knowledge of food trends, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements is essential.
